Evaluation of Major Cardiovascular Events in Patients With, or at High Risk for, Cardiovascular Disease Who Are Statin Intolerant Treated With Bempedoic Acid (ETC-1002) or Placebo

This is a clinical trial for patients who are intolerant of statin therapy (muscle aches and pains and other side effects) who have vascular blockages and need to have an alternative therapy. Bempedoic acid (180 mg once a day) is a new medication which is not in the same class as statin medications.




A Double-blind, Randomized, Placebo-controlled, Multicenter Study to Assess the Efficacy and Safety of Omecamtiv Mecarbil on Mortality and Morbidity in Subjects With Chronic Heart Failure With Reduced Ejection Fraction

This study trials a new class of medications called myosin activator to determine if it will improve outcomes in patients with heart failure (heart muscle weakness). It is taken orally twice a day.
